RSPCA back ground information

For the blog:
1.       How long has this organization been established for? It was created in England since  1824 so it has been established for 187 years, and in Australia it was formed in Melbourne in 1871 so it has been established in Australia in since 140 years in Australia.
2.       Can you find any past advertising materials, as well as present?  How have these changed over the years, and what do you think these changes have been influenced by? I found the past advertisement materials very plain with not many pictures and just writing trying to get the point across, but nothing in the first place that is very eye catching. Whereas the present advertisement is very colourful and uses lots of pictures of cute animals to bring the audience to look, then after it catches the eye of people it then has small bits of information which invites people to learn more.
3.       Is the current advertising appropriate to the organization? Why? Yes it is very appropriate to the organization because they use images, with cute animals which make you feel sorry for them, which would make you want to help them. They also always use bright colours to bring in a young target audience.  But the current advertisement does not tell you much about the corporation its self which makes it hard for people to try and get involved in the organization.
4.       How could a different design be appropriate?  If they used some more thing in the poster in how you could help the animals or show sad animals to make the audience want to help more. As well as just making the poster a bit more simple so that the images is more eye catching and not too crowed.
these are some posters for the RSPCA that i liked;
